Okay as I write this post we are just about to enter the middle of October and that means pretty soon Thanksgiving and Christmas will be staring us in the face. When the holidays finally do get here family and friends will be gathering to celebrate. With that celebration comes complex dinners and desserts. I don’t know about you but it seems I’m always looking for a fresh new dessert to serve with holiday dinner.
That’s why when I came across this Plum Pie Daiquiri it immediately struck me as a great and different dessert. Truth is though this drink has no chance of ever being a daiquiri since a daiquiri requires rum and this drink has none. That being said though it has to be one of the stunning looking drinks I’ve come across in a long while. In addition if you make it thick enough you could probably even serve it with a spoon as a true dessert.
This dessert drink contains the following ingredients.
- Melted butter.
- Graham cracker crumbs.
- Plum Vodka
- Four small plums.
- Vanilla ice cream.
- Pineapple juice.
- Whipped cream.
Oh and not to leave the children out of this one, just omit the vodka when creating this dessert for kids. Just make sure you have a good frozen drink blender at your side so there will be little or no ice chunks in the bottom of this beautiful creation.
